Description:

Dimethyltin oleate (DMTOL) is an organotin liquid with an oily odor and yellowish color. It is soluble in most organic solvents. Dimethyltin oleate is used as a catalyst in a number of esterification reactions and in curing processes.

Applications:

DMTOL is used as a catalyst for rigid and polyurethane foams. DMTOL is used for curing catalysis in electroplating coating processes, and for deep curing of silicone elastomers. In addition, this compound can also be used as a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride.
